I am an Accredited counsellor lead by the ethics and practices of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, the leading UK authority in this field. My approach is Integrative. I am respectful of the Psychodynamic roots of your personality, in a Person-centred way I respect the expertise of each client on their issues, and I am open to CBT when it suits the client’s needs and wishes. We will work together under the highest standards of confidentiality, to promote your relationship with your counsellor, and to give you maximum freedom.
I am trained by Cruse Bereavement and widely experienced in assisting with issues arising from recent or historic bereavement. I am qualified through Barnardos to offer Adoption Support Counselling and Attachment Focused Therapy for adults involved in any way with adoption (the adopted, adopters, siblings, birth and adopted family, and friends of adopters).
