What is Reiki?
Reiki is a therapy method to resolve emotional distress. Originally from Japan, it is used worldwide as a complementary healthcare.
The Reiki practitioner allows healing energy to flow freely throughout the body which is experiencing tension or distress. This results in relaxation, and reduced pain and tension throughout the body.
It can be ‘hands on’, or with the practitioner’s hands moving above the body. Reiki should be used alongside traditional medication which has been advised and prescribed by your other health professionals, and never as an alternative to it.
